Talented Hungary-based photographer Sarolta Bán is famous for her stunning surreal scenes. She is now using her skills to perfectly manipulate digital photos to change the understanding of abandoned shelter animals by showcasing them in a new light so that new homes can be found for them.
Bán’s project titled “Help Dogs with Images” takes a completely different approach to this campaign. Instead of showing the abandoned animals as victims, she transformed them into interesting and fascinating characters in an unusual world created by her imagination.
According to Bán’s Facebook page, everything began with an image of a white dog that she adopted. After that, she created an entire series of photographs featuring shelter animals to help them find new homes.
Additionally, she collected pictures of abandoned animals from all over the world and plans to create stunning pictures from them too. She intends to gift copies of these stunning images to the people who will adopt them.
Bán posted these surreal pictures of abandoned animals on her Facebook page, where she asked her 109,000 fans to share the pictures and submit some of their own images of sheltered animals. Bán believes that abandoned dogs have extremely low chances of appearing on a picture that will encourage people to adopt them, so she hopes to create a picture that is different from the rest and “speaks” to an individual.
